and organized conduct of the All India 'Bharat Buddhiks 2.0 National

the last date for registration has been extended to November 5, 2026. He
directed the Vice Chancellors, Registrars, Examination Controllers, Principals,
and Regional Higher Education Officers of all state, private, and central
universities in the state to launch a war-like campaign in the remaining days
to encourage as many students as possible to register, so that Uttar Pradesh
can set a new national record for participation in this national knowledge
competition. The objective of this knowledge competition, based on the Indian
knowledge tradition, is to pass on the glorious past to future generations and
to reward and encourage talented students.
Addressing the virtual review meeting, Higher Education
Minister Yogendra Upadhyaya stated that over 160,000 students from the state's
universities and colleges have registered so far, which is a significant
achievement. He underlined that with millions of students pursuing higher

campaign to every youth. He directly called upon all Vice Chancellors and
Principals to form active teams of professors and nodal officers to directly
reach classrooms and encourage students to participate. He stated that, in line
with the National Education Policy (NEP-2020), this national examination is not
merely a competition, but a sacred national ritual to connect today's young
generation (Gen-G) with India's glorious past, rich philosophy, science, art,
and intellectual heritage, and inspire them to build a self-reliant and
developed India.
For the successful, fair, and transparent conduct of the
examination, the Higher Education Minister directed the Registrars of all
universities to designate University Level Nodal Officers and the
Controllers of Examinations to designate University Level Controllers of
Examinations. He said that the Controllers of Examinations have extensive
and practical experience of the examination system, hence they will personally
ensure the complete confidentiality of question papers, safe storage of
question papers before the examination, timely distribution to the examination
centres, monitoring of discipline at the examination centres, and the overall
arrangements for collection and evaluation of answer sheets. At the local
level, coordination will also be established with the district administration
