Lucknow, Nov 02 (HS): The Chief Minister exhorted residents in an
official letter titled 'Yogi kee Paati' to imbibe the genuine spirit of Diwali.
Illuminating Deprived Homes: He asked residents to find poor families in their
communities and offer resources, such as lights, sweets, and new clothes, to
brighten their life.
Promoting Local Trade: He encouraged the general public and visiting pilgrims
to purchase handcrafted handicrafts and clay lamps directly from local artists
in order to honor their arduous labor.
Reflecting on the Ramayana, he described how Bharat controlled Ayodhya by
laying Lord Ram's footwear on the throne, demonstrating that authority is a
job, not a privilege.
The visual splendor of the event, with millions of lights
along the banks of the Saryu River, is a source of cultural pride. However, as
CM Yogi stated, the ultimate success of the event is based on the reality that
the same diya that makes Ram Nagari gleam also inspires hope for wealth in the
house of an industrious family.
Yogi has formally urged folks to come to Ayodhya with their families and
friends and witness the historic 10th Grand Deepotsav. In a passionate letter
titled Yogi ki Paatee, he stressed that Deepotsav is more than
simply a festival of lights; it represents the restoration of India's timeless
cultural pride and a source of employment for many local artists.
The letter
penned by UP CM, reads as follows: “My esteemed fellow citizens of the state, The
foremost among the seven sacred cities, Shri Ayodhya Dham, is thrilled to
welcome its tenth grand and divine Deepotsav. Deepotsav symbolizes the journey
from darkness to light, despair to hope, and faith to progress. It is not
merely the lighting of lamps, but a grand festival of the revival of India's
eternal consciousness and cultural pride. The garland of lamps adorning the
banks of Mother Saryu, and the twinkling of millions of lamps on Ram ki Paidi,
seem as if the heavenly Ganga has descended upon Ayodhya. Aerial presentations
through drones and the participation of artists lend this grand festival an
otherworldly splendor.”
“I particularly
wish to urge each one of you: if there is any deprived family in your
neighborhood, illuminate their Diwali according to your means. Gift them lamps,
sweets, and new clothes to bring joy into their lives. This is the true spirit
of Deepotsav. By purchasing lamps and products from local artisans, encourage
their hard work. It is my heartfelt wish that you visit Ayodhya with your
family and friends and witness the divine splendor of the grand Deepotsav in
the holy city of Lord Shri Ram. Jai Siyavar Ramchandra,” he added.
