New Delhi, 02 November (H.S.): Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai attended the Bharat Renewable Energy Summit & Expo 2026 at Bharat Mandapam on Monday, where he is set to present the state's vision for the energy sector on a global platform. Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta and Bihar Chief Minister Samrat Choudhary were also present on the occasion. A roundtable discussion involving chief ministers and Union ministers is scheduled to be held as part of the summit.
At the global gathering, Sai will highlight Chhattisgarh's vision of emerging not only as a traditional energy-producing state but also as a leading destination for clean and renewable energy. According to the Chhattisgarh government, the Chief Minister will present the state's natural resource potential, emerging opportunities in the energy sector, plans for expanding green energy and future investment prospects before national and international investors.
His vision is to position Chhattisgarh as a self-reliant and investment-friendly energy hub while establishing it as an important contributor to India's clean energy transition. In pursuit of this objective, the state government will place particular emphasis on promoting renewable energy projects, including solar power, developing modern energy infrastructure and encouraging greater participation from private investors.
The Chief Minister will also interact with investors and industry representatives, sharing information about the opportunities available in Chhattisgarh's energy sector and the state's investment-friendly environment. His endeavour is to translate the state's energy potential into fresh investment, employment opportunities and industrial growth.
It is noteworthy that the four-day global summit, being held from November 2 to 5, is expected to bring together representatives from more than 130 countries. The event therefore offers Chhattisgarh an important opportunity to showcase its energy vision internationally, strengthen its global presence and attract investment from across the world.
