Gorakhpur, Nov 02 (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s
deep affection for cattle was on display at the Gorakhnath Temple gaushala on
Monday morning. As several cattle eagerly gathered around him to receive his
affection during Gau Seva, he gently guided them, saying, “Come on, move over
there, otherwise you might get hurt.” Responding to his affectionate call, the
cattle moved to the other side, where the Chief Minister fed them rotis and
jaggery with his hands.
During his stay at Gorakhnath Temple, CM Yogi followed his
usual morning routine on Monday. He offered prayers to Lord Shiva incarnate
Mahayogi Guru Gorakhnath at the temple and paid obeisance at the samadhi of his
mentor, Mahant Avaidyanath, seeking his blessings. Thereafter, while taking a
round of the temple premises, he visited the gaushala, where he lovingly caressed
the cattle and fed them jaggery and rotis with his hands.
