Mumbai, 02 November (H.S.): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan marked his 61st birthday on Monday by treating fans to a special surprise — the release of the first romantic song, ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, from his much-anticipated film ‘King’. The track features Shah Rukh alongside Deepika Padukone, with the pair showcasing their romantic chemistry in the music video.

The video opens with Shah Rukh delivering a striking dialogue: “Main qaatil nahi, aashiq hoon, aur nishana meri mashooka” (I am not a murderer, but a lover, and my beloved is my target). Deepika makes an appearance shortly afterwards, setting the stage for a series of romantic moments featuring the two actors. The song's release was quickly followed by reactions from fans on social media.

‘Tu Mil Jaaye’ brings together a prominent mix of Indian and international musical talent. Arijit Singh and Madhubanti Bagchi have lent their vocals to the track, while international pop star Ed Sheeran features with an English rap segment. The music has been composed by Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics penned by Kumaar.

Alongside its romantic sequences and melodic appeal, the video also offers glimpses of Shah Rukh's action-oriented avatar, giving audiences a preview of the film's blend of romance, drama and high-octane action.

Directed by Siddharth Anand, ‘King’ has already generated considerable anticipation among audiences. Apart from Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone, the film features Abhishek Bachchan and Suhana Khan in significant roles.

Shah Rukh and Deepika have previously shared screen space in several successful films, and their on-screen pairing has remained popular with audiences. With ‘Tu Mil Jaaye’, the duo reunites to bring their romantic chemistry back to the screen.
