Varanasi, Nov 02 (HS): Former explosive opening batsman of the Indian

cricket team, Virender Sehwag, reached the holy city of Varanasi and offered

prayers to Baba at the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. He performed the puja as

per the rituals and sought Baba Vishwanath's blessings. After the darshan, Sehwag

expressed his devotion to Mahadev by sharing pictures of the temple premises on

his official social media account on Monday.

Sehwag wrote alongside the photos, Wherever Mahadev

calls, going there is a privilege in itself. Jai Baba Vishwanath! Har Har

Mahadev. In photos shared on social media, Sehwag is seen standing with

folded hands in a white T-shirt and dark glasses. He was also wearing a cap and

a mask, making him unrecognizable to bystanders on the streets as he walked

towards the temple.

It is reported that Sehwag walked from Chowk Police Station

to Gate No. 4 of the Shri Kashi Vishwanath Temple. During his stay in Kashi, he

also expressed his religious faith by visiting and worshipping at other major

temples in the city. Photos of his arrival in Kashi and his visit to Baba

Vishwanath have become a topic of discussion on social media.
