Mumbai, 02 Nov (HS): Thirty persons, including the

bride and bridegroom, suffered food poisoning during a marriage ceremony, in

Bhandup-Nahur region of Mumbai. About 400 people enjoyed the dinner. Those

sitting in the last row started feeling uncomfortable complained of stomach ache

and diarrhoea. They were admitted to a hospital in Mulund and another hospital

in Vikroli.

Police have taken food samples and have send for

laboratory tests.

FDA Commissioner Tukaram Mundhe said that the issue

is serious and investigation has been initiated.
