Hooghly, 02 November (H.S.): Preparations are underway in full swing for the proposed visit of West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari to Vidyasagar Maidan in the Pursurah Assembly constituency on November 5. On Monday, State Agriculture Minister Dudh Kumar Mandal visited the venue to review the arrangements.

During the inspection, the minister took stock of the venue's infrastructure, stage construction, security arrangements and other essential preparations. Special emphasis was laid on ensuring that the Chief Minister's proposed programme is conducted smoothly and without any disruption.

With the November 5 programme approaching, political and administrative activity has intensified across the Pursurah Assembly constituency. Preparations at the venue are being expedited to ensure the successful conduct of the Chief Minister's

visit.
