Lucknow, Nov 02 (HS): Shri Ayodhya Dham's Deepotsav is reviving

religion and the economy alike. In a passionate statement released ahead of the

festivities, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed that the

yearly festival of lights represents a strong convergence of cultural legacy

and economic development for the working people. CM Yogi Adityanath stated that

the festival's magnitude has a direct influence on the livelihoods of

underprivileged populations. The event serves as an economic engine for flower

merchants, hotel operators, and manual workers, who all see an increase in

revenue during the celebrations.

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath stressed that

the huge Deepotsav in Ayodhya strengthens both cultural beliefs and the local

economy. He noted before the celebration that millions of lighted lights

directly benefit the livelihoods of potters, farmers, and laborers.

Economic Empowerment: Lighting millions of clay lamps strongly ties cultural

legacy to the financial success of local artists and traders.

In contrast, Adityanath highlighted that past administrations lacked vision in

linking faith with economic prospects before to 2017, which the present

government has corrected.

Grassroots Impact: The increasing demand for diyas revives traditional pottery

and provides financial independence to rural laborers and small business

owners.

In a post on X,

he stated, “The grand Deepotsav of Shri Ayodhya Dham is infusing new energy not

only into faith but also into the economy. Every lamp lit here is casting new

light on the labor of a potter, the produce of a farmer, and the livelihood of

a family. But before the year 2017, this light was absent. No initiative had

been taken to connect the immense cultural potential of Ram Nagri with the

prosperity of local artisans, farmers, and small traders. There was a complete

absence of vision to transform the power of faith into new opportunities for

livelihood. The double-engine government has dispelled this darkness. Under the

illustrious guidance of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi ji, the

grand Deepotsav, illuminated by millions of lamps, is today creating new

opportunities for work and business for potters, laborers, and small traders.

The very diya that makes Ram Nagri sparkle also kindles hope for prosperity in

the home of a hardworking family. Such is our Deepotsav...Jai Jai Shri Ram.”
