Bhubaneswar, 01 November (H.S.): The Odisha Housing and Urban Development (H&UD) Department has directed urban development authorities in six districts to expedite the preparation and submission of preliminary damage assessment reports in the aftermath of Cyclone ARNAB.

The District Urban Development Agency (DUDA) teams in Ganjam, Gajapati, Kandhamal, Malkangiri, Koraput and Rayagada have been asked to accord top priority to the assessment and submit their reports at the earliest.

The reports will be consolidated by the department and forwarded to the Office of the Special Relief Commissioner (SRC) for necessary action.
