Lucknow, Nov 01 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath
has positioned Ayodhya as a model for his administration, touting a new
dawn of development and cultural renaissance. According to the state
administration, the old city, which was formerly plagued by administrative
neglect and continuous strife, has effectively combined its spiritual legacy
with contemporary infrastructure to become a global cultural attraction.
Tourism numbers have increased substantially in recent years, owing to the
dedication of the great Ram Mandir. This influx has increased local company
income, considerably enlarged the hospitality industry, and created thousands
of new jobs.
Under Yogi Adityanath, Ayodhya is undertaking a thorough
urban and cultural renovation aiming at restoring its old grandeur while
incorporating contemporary infrastructure. Operating under a double-engine
administration in collaboration with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state
has launched a number of high-profile public works and spiritual tourist
initiatives.
The city moved from rudimentary roads to multi-lane networks, notably the
high-capacity Rampath. Air connectivity has been restored thanks to the newly
constructed Maharishi Valmiki International Airport. The double-engine
government method (coordination between national and state leadership)
continues to use Ayodhya as a structural template to undertake comparable
heritage-driven development in other key cultural sites in Uttar Pradesh,
including Kashi, Mathura-Vrindavan, and Prayagraj.
In a post on X,
he mentioned, “Ayodhya is the birthplace of the Ayodhya civilization, the
lifeblood of culture, and the eternal flame of faith. Yet, before the year
2017, this divine city was compelled to endure the caustic sting of neglect,
disorder, and appeasement. Pilgrims' journeys were arduous, the city's
infrastructure dilapidated, and the prospects of local families limited. Under
the illustrious leadership of the Honorable Prime Minister Shri @narendramodi
ji, Ayodhya ji has been infused with a new expanse of modern development that
restores its ancient dignity. From the grand Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple to Ram
Path, Dharma Path, the international airport, and the modern railway station,
every construction is tied to the convenience of pilgrims and the glory of Ram
Nagari. The light of this transformation is reaching the homes and courtyards
of Ayodhya's residents. Rising tourism is bolstering trade, new opportunities
are linking youth to employment, and local families are nurturing fresh hopes
of prosperity.”
“Ayodhya, once
awaiting development, is today scripting a new chapter of progress alongside
its heritage. This center of faith, identity, and worship for countless
Sanatanis has become a radiant symbol of cultural consciousness and prosperity,
embodying the resolve of 'Developed India-Developed Uttar Pradesh.'Jai Jai Shri
Ram,” he added.
