Ghaziabad, Nov 01 (HS): Azam Khan's arrest

immediately after his release from jail was held under the law. There is no

political interference in this. The government does not interfere with the law.

The law is acting within the scope of the crime that has been committed. If any

injustice is being committed, the doors of the court are open.' Brajesh Pathak,

Deputy Chief Minister Uttar Pradesh government, said this while speaking to

reporters on Sunday upon his arrival at the police lines in Ghaziabad.

The Deputy Chief Minister of Uttar

Pradesh said that the government's job is to strengthen law and order, which is

visible in Uttar Pradesh. Law and order in Uttar Pradesh has improved during

the BJP government. People from all sections are satisfied with this. On the

basis of strong law and order and development, the BJP will form the government

in Uttar Pradesh with a huge majority in the upcoming assembly elections. When

Pathak was questioned about the rally organized by the Congress in Delhi, he

said that there is a desperation within the Congress to come to power. That is

why the rally is being organized. Congress has no support base left among the

public. The people of the country are with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the

BJP.

Responding to a question about the

BJP's defeat in the Uttar Pradesh MLC elections in Varanasi, the Deputy Chief

Minister said that the matter is being reviewed, and one reason that has

emerged so far is the delay in ticket announcements. He stated that any

shortcomings will be addressed. He stated that the Lok Sabha defeat in Ayodhya

and the MLC elections in Varanasi will not have an impact on the upcoming

assembly elections. There is no doubt that the BJP, under the leadership of

Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, is certain to form a government in Uttar

Pradesh with a landslide majority.
