Mumbai, 8 Oct (HS):The

world’s biggest gathering of Hindu leadership as the World Hindu Congress (WHC)

2026 is scheduled to be held on 18, 19 and 20 December 2026 at the Jio World

Convention Centre, BKC, Mumbai.

The fourth WHC is expected to witness the

participation of more than 4,000 delegates from over 60 countries, bringing

together Hindu leaders, thinkers, professionals and representatives from

diverse fields and institutions from across the world.

RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat will address the

inaugural session of the Hindu Congress. The three-day global gathering will

feature more than 45 sessions and over 150 speakers, with participation from

leaders and experts representing diverse spheres including Economy, Politics,

Education, Youth, Hindu Organisations, Women and Media.

Speaking about the upcoming World Hindu Congress,

Swami Vigyananand initiator of the World Hindu Congress, said, “Hindu society

today is more visible and respected across the world than ever before, but this

is not the time to rest. The World Hindu Congress is a strategic and structured

movement to position Hindus globally in key areas of influence such as the

Economy, Education, Academia, Media, and Politics. It provides a platform for

Organisations, Activists and Individuals to connect, collaborate, and

contribute with a shared commitment and collective resolve.]”

The WHC will feature four special plenary sessions –

Dharma, Samaj, Vishwakarma and Bhasha.

The Dharma plenary will bring together spiritual leaders representing diverse Dharmic

traditions, sampradayas, spiritual institutions and philosophical schools from

Bharat and other parts of the world, providing a platform for dialogue and

exchange on the role of Dharma in contemporary society.

The Samaj plenary will focus on the social dimension of Hindu society and bring together

experts and representatives from different communities, traditions and social

institutions to deliberate on social cohesion, community development and the

challenges before Hindu society.

The Bhasha plenary will highlight the rich linguistic diversity of Hindu society,

recognising the role of Bharat and the global Hindu community’s many languages

in preserving civilisational knowledge, literature, traditions and cultural

identity.

The Vishwakarma plenary will focus on skills, skilled workforce,

entrepreneurship, innovation and the contribution of artisans, craftsmen and

professionals to economic and social development. It will explore ways to

strengthen the dignity of skilled work and create greater opportunities for the

next generation.

The theme of WHC 2026 is “Samanam Vratam Saha Chittam

– Shared Commitment, Collective Resolve.” Hindus are a global community of over

1.2 billion people, living in nearly 180 countries. World Hindu Congress is the

one global platform that brings Hindu leaders, thinkers, activists and

organisations together under one roof. It is held once every four years, with

earlier editions in New Delhi (2014), Chicago (2018) and Bangkok (2023).

In another landmark addition, he announced that the

inaugural World Hindu Expo will be launched as part of World Hindu Congress

2026. The World Hindu Expo is aimed at stimulating trade and commerce, and

fostering a new era of prosperity and economic growth for Hindu society.

technology, media and culture have confirmed their participation in the World

Hindu Congress 2026. Besides Dr Bhagwat those confirmed participation include, Maharashtra

Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, Himanta Biswa Sarma, Chief Minister of Assam,

writer, director of Hanuman Ansh Vishal Chaurvedi, Lyricist, poet and scrip

writer Manoj Muintashir, BMC Municipal Commissioner Ashivini Bhide, Central

Electricity Authority Chairperson Ghanshyam Prasad, NITI Ayog Member Abhay

World Hindu Congress 2026 will provide a global

platform for Hindu leaders and institutions to connect, deliberate, collaborate

and share ideas, while exploring pathways for the future of Hindu society and

its contribution to the world.

Ajay Piramal is the Chairman, and Vishad Mafatlal and Mahesh

Bhagchandka are the Vice-Chairmen, of the World Hindu Congress 2026 Mumbai Organising
