Guwahati, 09 October (HS): A delegation of Indian Bank recently donated ₹1.25 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund (CMRF) of Assam, Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma said in a social media post on Friday.

The chief minister received the cheque from the bank’s delegation at Lok Sewa Bhawan. He expressed his appreciation for the bank’s contribution and acknowledged the initiative as a humanitarian gesture.

Dr Sarma also thanked the bank’s management and employees for extending their support to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. The contribution is expected to strengthen the fund’s capacity to assist people in need and support relief efforts in the state.

Sharing details of the contribution on social media, the chief minister highlighted the bank’s support for the relief fund and expressed gratitude to all those associated with the initiative.------------
