Kolkata, 09 October (HS): Kolkata Metro will operate overnight services on the Blue and Green lines for four consecutive days during Durga Puja to facilitate pandal-hopping. The special services will run from October 17 to October 20, covering both Saptami days, Ashtami and Navami.

According to Metro authorities, services on the Blue Line will begin at 1 p.m. and continue until 4 a.m. the following day. On the Green Line, trains will operate from 1:30 p.m. until 3:59 a.m. the following day.

The extended services are aimed at accommodating the large number of passengers expected to travel during the festival, particularly those visiting Puja pandals late at night.

Meanwhile, Metro services on the Orange Line will remain suspended on Saptami to Dashami. Trains on this line will operate only on Panchami and Shashthi.
