
Kolkata, 07 October (H.S.) : Weather conditions across West Bengal are expected to feature intermittent sunshine and partly cloudy skies on Wednesday, with the regional meteorological office forecasting light rain or thundershowers in isolated pockets of the state. While most areas will see clear intervals through the morning, cloud cover is anticipated to build up by the afternoon, paving the way for evening or night showers in several districts.
According to the weather forecast, the maximum temperature across the state is likely to hover between 32°C and 33°C, while minimum temperatures are projected to settle in the range of 24°C to 26°C. Elevated relative humidity levels, oscillating between 65% and 78%, are set to maintain warm and muggy conditions throughout the day. The probability of localized precipitation across affected districts has been placed at 30% to 40%.
The state capital, Kolkata, is also likely to witness partly cloudy skies alongside persistent daytime humidity, with brief spells of light rain expected late in the evening or night. Meteorologists noted that local convective conditions could trigger isolated weather variations across diverse micro-regions.
From North Bengal to the southern plains, sporadic cloudiness and scattered rainfall activity are anticipated, while monitoring continues across the coastal belt for localized atmospheric shifts.
