
Bhubaneswar,October 7 (H.S.): Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi on World Habitat Day reaffirmed the state government’s commitment to ensuring safe, secure and dignified housing for every family, particularly those belonging to vulnerable sections.
In a social media post, Majhi said the government is working to provide housing assistance to the most vulnerable families through the Antyodaya Gruha Yojana, with the objective of ensuring that lack of shelter does not become a barrier to a better life.
The Chief Minister emphasised that a home is not merely a roof over one’s head but the foundation of dignity, security and hope. He reiterated the government’s vision of ensuring secure homes and dignified lives as part of its broader commitment to building a stronger Odisha.
