Mumbai, 07 October (H.S.): The release of Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar’s upcoming rural horror film ‘Kaali Kheti’ has been postponed. The makers had announced last month, while unveiling the motion poster, that the film would hit theatres on October 23. The new release date has now been confirmed, with the film scheduled to arrive in cinemas on November 20, 2026. The change in release date means audiences will have to wait a little longer for the film.

Written and directed by Haris Imtiaz Khan, ‘Kaali Kheti’ explores the rural landscape and the world of agriculture through an unconventional horror lens. With its distinctive setting and premise, the film seeks to offer a departure from conventional horror fare.

The makers have also unveiled the first looks of Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar from the film. While Shroff is presented in a sinister and mysterious avatar, Kelkar appears in an intensely sharp and aggressive look, adding to the film’s ominous atmosphere.

A haunting and mysterious musical score accompanying the posters further heightens the sense of suspense and dread surrounding the film.

‘Kaali Kheti’ stars Neha Sargam as the female lead. Set against a rural backdrop, the horror film will now release in theatres on November 20, 2026.
