Mumbai, 07 October (H.S.): Ajay Devgn’s crime thriller ‘Drishyam: The Conclusion’ has continued its strong run at the box office, crossing the Rs 200-crore mark on its fifth day. According to Sacnilk, the film earned an estimated Rs 19 crore net at the domestic box office on its fifth day, taking its total India net collection to Rs 216.50 crore. The film had collected Rs 21 crore on Day 4, Rs 61 crore on Day 3, Rs 53.50 crore on Day 2 and Rs 62 crore on its opening day.

The film has also maintained a strong performance in overseas markets. It earned approximately Rs 9.50 crore internationally on its fifth day, taking its total overseas collection to Rs 81.50 crore. With its domestic and overseas earnings combined, ‘Drishyam 3’ has reached a worldwide gross of Rs 341.30 crore. Despite the day-to-day decline in collections, the film’s overall box-office momentum has remained largely unaffected.

With an opening-day collection of Rs 62 crore, ‘Drishyam 3’ recorded the biggest opening of Ajay Devgn’s career. The film surpassed the Rs 43.50-crore opening recorded by ‘Singham Again’. It now faces the challenge of overtaking the lifetime domestic collections of some of Devgn’s previous major releases. ‘Singham Again’ earned approximately Rs 268.35 crore net domestically, while ‘Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior’ collected Rs 279.59 crore.

Directed by Abhishek Pathak, the film features Tabu, Shriya Saran, Jaideep Ahlawat and Prakash Jha in pivotal roles.
