Arrangements at entrance of OPD complex and old building
inaugurated today
Prayagraj, 6 Oct (HS): Two new baby
feeding rooms have been constructed on the SRN Hospital campus for the
convenience of mothers and infants. They were inaugurated today at 2 p.m. by
Motilal Nehru Medical College Principal Prof. (Dr.) A.K. Verma. One room has
been built in front of the OPD complex and the other at the entrance of the old
building.
Women coming to the hospital for treatment and checkups often need a suitable
and private place to breastfeed their babies. The opening of these rooms will
provide mothers with a convenient location within the hospital campus where
they can breastfeed their babies with ease and privacy.
Speaking about this initiative, Department Head, Professor Khurshid, said,
Mothers visiting the hospital need a safe, clean, and private space to
breastfeed their babies. These baby feeding rooms will provide convenience and
comfort to mothers. We hope this arrangement will help improve the hospital
experience for mothers and babies.
Professor Khurshid's initiative and efforts were instrumental in establishing
the Baby Feeding Room. The hospital administration has described it as a useful
step toward making the campus more patient-friendly, inclusive, and sensitive.
This initiative, designed to address the needs of mothers and infants, is part
of the hospital's ongoing efforts to improve facilities.
Officials stated that such efforts will continue to provide better facilities
to patients and their families.
