New Delhi, 06 October (H.S.): The Rauniyar Vaishya Sabha, Delhi (Regd.), will organise a grand ceremony on October 7 to mark the birth anniversary and Vijayotsav of Rauniyar Shiromani Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya, popularly known as Hemu. The ceremony will be held at Himachal Bhavan in New Delhi from 3:30 pm.

Pankaj Kumar, National Convener and Media In-charge of the Rauniyar Vaishya Sabha, said the event would commemorate the valour, bravery and contribution to the nation of Samrat Hemchandra Vikramaditya, popularly known as Hemu. Members of the community, representatives of various social organisations, intellectuals and other dignitaries are expected to attend the ceremony.

He said the objective of the programme was to remember Samrat Hemu’s historic life and struggles and create wider awareness about his contribution to society and his valour. The organisers said such events play an important role in familiarising the younger generation with the country’s history and the contributions of its brave warriors.

The Rauniyar Vaishya Sabha has appealed to all invited guests and members of the community to reach the venue on time and contribute to the success and dignity of the ceremony.

According to the organisers, preparations for the ceremony are underway. The Rauniyar Vaishya Sabha has urged all those invited to participate in large numbers and help make the event a success.
