Mumbai, 06 Oct (HS): Maharashtra State Anganwadi workers

have withdrawn their agitation following discussion with Women and Child Development

Minister, Aditi Tatkare about their demands. The woekers also withdrew the

proposed the agitation and demonstration on Tuesday (Oct 06) in Mumbai.

After demonstrations on October 2, a memorandum of

demands was submitted to Tatkare, who invited the delegation of workers for a

discussion on Monday. Tatkare assured positive consideration about the Anganwadi

workers, following which the agitation was withdrawn.
