Guwahati, 05 October (HS): Singapore-based Assamese Rupkamal Kalita, who appeared before the court again on Monday to record his statement in connection with the death of singer Zubeen Garg, said that it would take some more time for justice to be delivered.
Kalita said that the statements of several more witnesses are yet to be recorded in the case. He said to media persons that the lawyers representing Siddhartha Sharma and Amritprabha Mahanta were cross-questioning him during the proceedings.
According to Kalita, the defence counsel questioned him about the circumstances under which Zubeen Garg had to enter the sea water from the yacht on September 19, 2025.
