Oct (HS): A woman in Borgaon village in Chandrapur district saw a unique accompanist,

when she was cleaning utensils in the courtyard of her home. A tiger came and

sat near her in the courtyard on Sunday.

Rattled by the

presence of tiger near her, Puja Gautam Chandekar, ran to safety inside her home

and closed the door. The presence of mind saved her from any harm by the tiger.

Meanwhile the

tiger after loitering in the area for some time moved away towards jungle. Hundreds

of villages ran towards Puja’s house to have a glance of the tiger, as they

came to know about the incident.

The forest

department was informed about the presence of a tiger in the residential area.

Patrolling in the area has been

increased.
