Wedding of Lord Shri Krishna and Mother Rukmini celebrated

Prayagraj, 5 Oct (HS):

On the sixth day of the Bhagwat Katha being organised by the ancient

Shri Dadhikando Mela Committee, Krishnanagar Triveni Marg, Kidganj, in the

premises of Shri Gyan Library, Pujya Batuk Maharaj, while giving a lecture on

the Raasleela of Shri Krishna, said that Raasleela is the soul of Bhagwat. It

symbolizes the union of the soul and the Supreme Soul. It has no place for

worldly desires or lust; rather, it is the culmination of pure love and

devotion. Therefore, the Bhagwat is called the school of love, devotion,

renunciation, knowledge, and union with the Supreme Being.

Today's story recounted the events of Kansa's slaying and

the Raas Leela. Afterward, the wedding of Lord Krishna and Mother Rukmini was

celebrated with great pomp. Media in-charge Rajesh Kesarwani said that the Bhagwat Katha

on October 6th will describe the character of Sudama, the Lord's journey to

heaven, and Parikshit's attachment. Hundreds of devotees, including Mahant

Yamuna Puri Maharaj, Mayor Ganesh Kesarwani, former councilor Savita Kesarwani,

Manish Kesarwani, Ajay Jaiswal, Raman Gupta, Rajesh Kesarwani, Khanne Sonkar,

Amresh Jaiswal, Krishna Sahu, Ankush Sharma, and Ishu Kesarwani, performed the

Aarti.
