
Lucknow, 5 Oct (HS): Political activity has reached its peak in Uttar Pradesh regarding
the Rajya Sabha elections and the Teacher-Graduate MLC elections. On Monday,
just a day before the Rajya Sabha nominations, BJP National General Secretary
(Organization) B.L. Santosh arrived in Lucknow. He held a meeting with Chief
Minister Yogi Adityanath at the Chief Minister's residence. In the meeting held
at the Chief Minister's residence, the two leaders discussed the names of
potential candidates for the Rajya Sabha elections. According to sources, along
with ticket selection, the organizational strategy and final roadmap for the
upcoming Uttar Pradesh Assembly elections have also been finalized.
Candidates can be announced at any time. The
last date for filing nominations for the Rajya Sabha elections is October 6. It
is believed that the BJP may announce the names of its Rajya Sabha candidates
any time on Monday.
Sangh and BJP meeting in Sultanpur: Immediately
after concluding his meeting with Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, B.L. Santosh
left Lucknow for Sultanpur. A coordination meeting has been scheduled in
Sultanpur on Monday, attended by top BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS)
officials from the Gorakh Pradesh and Kashi Pradesh. This meeting will finalize
the ground strategy for the upcoming elections.
The meeting in Sultanpur will be attended
by RSS co-general secretary Arun Kumar, regional campaigner Anil, and
provincial campaigners from Gorakhpur and Kashi. BJP's organization general
secretary BL Santosh, state in-charge Vinod Tawde, BJP state president Pankaj
Chaudhary, and state general secretary of organization Dharampal Singh will
also attend.
Following B.L. Santosh's whirlwind tour and
meeting with the Chief Minister, all eyes are now on the BJP's upcoming
candidate list.
