New Delhi, 05 October (H.S.): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj and party leader Darshana Jardosh on Monday inaugurated a free health check-up camp on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg under the 'Seva Sankalp' campaign.

On the occasion, BJP MP Bansuri Swaraj said that the Delhi BJP had organised the service camp on Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Marg under the 'Seva Sankalp' campaign to mark Prime Minister Narendra Modi completing 25 years in public life.

Bansuri Swaraj appealed to everyone to visit the camp and avail themselves of the free health check-up services. She said that through his development policies, Prime Minister Narendra Modi has envisioned not only a developed India but also a healthy India, and has therefore accorded priority to healthcare.

She said that Prime Minister Modi had introduced several initiatives, including the opening of Jan Aushadhi Kendras and the Ayushman Bharat health assurance scheme, described as the world's largest health insurance scheme, under which beneficiaries are eligible for free treatment of up to Rs 5 lakh. She also cited the Pradhan Mantri Matru Vandana Yojana, aimed at supporting pregnant women and mothers, as well as the extension of maternity leave in India from 12 weeks to 26 weeks.

Bansuri Swaraj said that Prime Minister Modi has served 'Maa Bharati' for the longest period as a public representative.
