Lucknow, 5 Oct (HS): The

State Council for Vocational Training (SCVT), Uttar Pradesh has started the

admission process for the fifth phase of the training session 2026-27 in the

state's government and private Industrial Training Institutes (ITIs). After the

completion of the fourth phase of the admission process on October 3, 2026, new

options have been invited from previously registered candidates of government

ITIs and online applications have been invited from new candidates for

government and private institutions for the seats remaining vacant.

Abhishek

Singh, Executive Director (SCVT) of the Department of Vocational Education,

Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, informed that the candidates who were

not selected in the first, second and third phase of the admission process of

Government Industrial Training Institutes or were selected but were denied

admission, can fill the revised options of vacant trades and desired

institutions by entering their registration number and date of birth through

the link available on the website. Along with this, gender, sub-category and

educational qualification can also be registered again.

If the candidate does

not register new options, then he/she will be included in the seat allocation

process of the fifth phase only on the basis of the options given in his/her

original application. Apart from this, the candidates who were previously admitted

in government institutions but whose names were struck off due to some reasons

can also apply.

He

stated that candidates applying afresh for government and private institutions

must first visit the website and fill out their application form. Afterward,

they can obtain a printout of their application form by paying the fee online

through Union Bank of India's payment gateway using a debit card, credit card,

internet banking, or UPI.

The

registration fee is Rs. 300 for general and backward class candidates, Rs.

250 for Scheduled Caste and Scheduled Tribe candidates, and Rs. 100 for all

female candidates. This entire online application and option filling process

will be available from October 6,

2026, to October 11, 2026, at 12:00 midnight.

The

Executive Director informed that after the fourth phase, the district-wise,

institute-wise and trade-wise details of vacant seats can be seen on the

Council's official website www.scvtup.in or information can also be obtained

from the offices of the respective institutes. He has given strict instructions

to the principals of all government and private industrial training institutes

of the state that they must ensure that the updated status of vacant seats in

their respective institutes, trade-wise, is displayed on the public notice

board, so that the candidates do not face any inconvenience in selecting the

options.
