Lucknow, 4 Oct (HS): Uttar

Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that we do not want an India

fragmented and fighting among caste camps, but rather a united India—a better

India. Dividing society on the basis of caste, region, and language is a crime

against the nation and Mother India. Even during the era of slavery, one class

divided society, while another united society and demanded independence. This

same trend is visible today in different forms. In such a situation, it is the

responsibility of the teaching community to ensure that divisive forces do not

succeed.

The Chief Minister was addressing the Provincial Teachers'

Dignity Workshop, organized as part of the centenary year of the Akhil Vishwa

Gayatri Parivar, in the Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Auditorium of Dr. Ram Manohar

Lohia National Law University on Sunday. The program began with the Gayatri

Mantra. The Chief Minister inaugurated the workshop by lighting a lamp.

“The All World Gayatri Family has presented an extremely

praiseworthy ideal example of social unity by bringing all sections of society

together on one platform, on one altar, through the medium of yajnas. Remember,

the first mantra of this creation is—the Gayatri Mantra. Pt. Shriram Sharma

Acharya Ji is one of those great souls who connected religion with science. Divisive

forces must not be allowed to prevent us from succeeding in any way. If

life-sustaining rivers cease to exist, a crisis will arise before the living

world. We will have to save them, make them perennial and pristine,” he

remarked.

It is not the person but the idea that makes the long

journey: Paying homage to Gayatri Parivar founders Pandit Shriram Sharma and

Mata Bhagwati Devi, the Chief Minister said that the Gayatri Parivar presented

the ideal of social unity by uniting society through yagna. Pandit Shriram

Sharma could have given his name to the organization, but he prioritized the

idea. Organizations run in the name of individuals collapse, while the idea

travels a long way. The 100 years of devotion of the Gayatri Parivar are proof

of this.

He said that the Gita Press was established in 1923, the

Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh in 1925, and the Akhil Vishwa Gayatri Pariwar in

1926. Their paths were different, but all three worked to awaken public

consciousness and connect society with eternal values, India, and Indianness.

If teachers become awakened then India will become the world

leader: Describing teachers as the conscience of society and the creators of an

era, the Chief Minister said that if teachers awaken and fulfill their

responsibilities honestly, it will not take long for India to become a world

leader. India's Acharya and Gurukul tradition gave rise to universities like

Takshashila and Nalanda. This tradition also produced Chanakya and

Chandragupta, Maharishi Vashistha and Shri Ram, and Maharishi Sandipani and

Krishna. This tradition must be revived.

He said that the participation of over 1.1 million students

in the Indian Culture Knowledge Examination is significant. By properly guiding

the younger generation and making them competitive, today's youth will become

the makers of India's destiny.

For India of 2047, give priority to duty: The Chief Minister

said that for the centenary year of independence, we must resolve to abandon

the mentality of slavery, take pride in our heritage, and work for social

equality and a developed India. If every individual prioritizes duty over

rights, no power in the world can challenge India. He called on the Gayatri

Parivar to set goals for the next 100 years and urged teachers to guide the

young generation towards a developed India in 2047.

The values of Indian culture should be instilled in the

new generation: Chinmay Pandya

of Indian culture in the new generation.

the yajna altar. I participated in the Provincial Teacher Dignity Workshop
