Odisha Governor, CM and Health Minister Pay Tributes to Freedom Fighter Sarala Devi

Bhubaneswar, 04 October (H.S.): Odisha Governor Dr Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and Health Minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling on Sunday paid heartfelt tributes to noted freedom fighter and writer Sarala Devi on her birth/death anniversary.

The Governor recalled Sarala Devi’s contribution to the freedom movement and her efforts to create awareness among women. He said her literary pursuits and contribution to enriching Odia language and literature would always be remembered.

Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi paid his tributes to Sarala Devi, recalling her significant contributions to the freedom struggle, social service and literature. He said her contributions would continue to inspire generations.

Health Minister Dr Mukesh Mahaling also paid his respects to the noted freedom fighter, highlighting her courage, sacrifice and spirit of dedication to the nation. He said Sarala Devi’s life and commitment to the country would remain a constant source of inspiration for the people of Odisha.
