
Bhubaneswar, 04 October (H.S.): Odisha Governor Dr. Hari Babu Kambhampati, Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi and senior ministers on Sunday paid tribute to former Odisha Chief Minister and veteran leader Nilamani Routray on his death anniversary, recalling his contribution to the state’s development and public service.
In a social media post, Governor Kambhampati offered his heartfelt tribute to the former Chief Minister and said Routray’s contribution towards making Odisha progressive and improving the welfare of its people would always be remembered.
Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi also paid his respectful tribute to Routray on his death anniversary. He said the former Chief Minister’s contribution to serving the people of Odisha and promoting the development of the state would remain memorable.
Health Minister Dr. Mukesh Mahaling described Routray’s contribution to the social, economic and political development of Odisha as unparalleled. He paid his heartfelt tribute to the veteran leader and recalled his enduring contribution to the state.
Higher Education Minister Suryabanshi Suraj remembered Routray as a distinguished freedom fighter, former Chief Minister and prominent leader of the Praja Movement. He said Routray’s invaluable contribution to the progress of Odisha, public service and the welfare of workers would remain immortal.
