New Delhi, 31 October (H.S.): The Rouse Avenue Court in Delhi has granted the Enforcement Directorate (ED) three weeks to submit documents in the money laundering case linked to a land transaction in Gurugram’s Shikohpur village, involving businessman Robert Vadra and other accused. Special Judge Shivali Bansal has scheduled the next hearing for December 10, 2026.

The court had earlier, on April 15, 2026, ordered the issuance of summons to Vadra as an accused in the case. Vadra challenged the summoning order before the Delhi High Court, which declined to stay the proceedings.

Apart from Vadra, the names mentioned in the proceedings include Satyanand Yajee, Kewal Singh Virk, M/s Sky Light Hospitality Private Limited, M/s Sky Light Realty Private Limited, M/s Real Earth Estates Private Limited, M/s Blue Breeze Trading Private Limited, M/s Artex, M/s North India IT Parks Private Limited, M/s Lambodar Art Enterprises India Private Limited and M/s SGY Properties Private Limited.

The court took cognisance of the alleged offences under Sections 3 and 4 of the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) in relation to the accused persons. During the proceedings, Vadra maintained that no case of money laundering was made out against him. His counsel argued that the court should not take cognisance of the chargesheet filed by the ED.

The case dates back to a land transaction in 2008 involving 3.5 acres in Shikohpur, Gurugram. Sky Light Hospitality, a company in which Vadra was a director, purchased the land from Onkareshwar Properties for Rs. 7.5 crore. The ownership of the land was transferred to Vadra’s company within 24 hours, according to the details cited in the case.

In 2012, Sky Light Hospitality sold the same land to DLF for Rs. 58 crore, reportedly making a substantial profit from the transaction. An FIR in connection with the matter was registered in 2018.
