Mau, Oct 31 (HS): Inauguration and foundation stone laying

of development projects: On the occasion of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel's birth

anniversary and National Unity Day, Urban Development and Energy Minister A.K.

Sharma gave a big gift of development to Mau. In a grand program organized at

Amila turn, he inaugurated and laid the foundation stone of development

projects worth about Rs 48 crore of Nagar Panchayat Amila, Nagar Panchayat

Doharighat and District Urban Development Agency. During this, the second

installment for housing construction was distributed to 10 beneficiaries of

Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban). At the same time, ex-servicemen were honored

and their contribution was saluted. At the end of the program, the people

present were also administered the oath of national unity.

Sharma: Addressing the program, Minister A.K. Sharma said regarding the

problems and development work in the area, I may not remember which

projects have been completed in the area, but I remember the problems that are

still unfinished, one by one. He clarified that solving the problems of

the people of the area is his priority and he is continuously making efforts

towards it.

Efforts underway to construct an underpass at Thanidas

Railway Crossing: The Minister specifically mentioned the demand for an

underpass at Thanidas Railway Crossing. He stated that children and civilians

face safety risks while crossing the railway crossing. Efforts are underway at

the relevant level to find a permanent solution to this problem. A letter has

also been received from the concerned Minister's office, which has been

forwarded for further action.

Initiatives to resolve pending issues in several villages,

including Bahadurpur: A.K. Sharma, referring to years-old pending cases related

to road and railway land in several villages, including Bahadurpur, said that

continuous efforts are being made to resolve them. He assured that every effort

will be made to address the area's basic problems.

Sardar Patel strengthened the nation's unity and integrity:

Paying tribute to the Iron Man, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel, the Minister said

that he played a historic role in strengthening the nation's unity and

integrity. Prime Minister Narendra Modi brought him global recognition by

building the world's tallest statue, the Statue of Unity, in Gujarat. He was

honored to have the opportunity to contribute as an associate of the Prime

Minister, from the conception to the construction of this historic project.
