New Delhi, 31 October (H.S.): Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta on Saturday inaugurated two children’s parks at Nehru Camp in Haiderpur, within the Shalimar Bagh Assembly constituency. The parks have been equipped with facilities such as swings for children, walking pathways and benches for visitors.
In a post on social media platform X, CM Gupta said extending development initiatives and civic amenities to settlements that had remained deprived of basic facilities for years was a priority for her government. She said the government was working to bring positive changes to every neighbourhood and ensure that every family had an opportunity to lead a better life.
The Chief Minister also inaugurated a public convenience complex at the GP Seva Basti in Pitampura. The facility, equipped with clean toilets and bathing facilities, is expected to provide greater convenience to local residents.
CM Gupta said her government was committed to ensuring that every citizen had access to clean, safe and dignified public amenities.
