During the Ex-Servicemen (ESM) Rally held at Miran Sahib on 30th Oct 2026, the Foundation presented one modified scooter and one battery-operated wheelchair to war-disabled soldiers, reaffirming its commitment to their dignity, comfort and independent living. In another significant initiative, financial assistance is also being extended to a disabled soldier to establish a poultry farm, thereby facilitating self-employment and economic independence.
Beyond the provision of mobility equipment and financial assistance, WWF places considerable emphasis on psychological support, motivation and empowerment, encouraging disabled soldiers to overcome challenges, regain confidence and lead productive lives without undue dependence on others.
Through its sustained welfare initiatives, the War Wounded Foundation continues to uphold the spirit of service and solidarity with the nation’s brave soldiers, transforming challenges into opportunities and reinforcing its guiding philosophy of “Converting Disability into Ability.”
