Lucknow, Oct 30 (HS): Asserting the campaign call for the 2027 state elections, Union home minister Amit Shah on

Friday announced that the

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) plans to implement the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) in

Uttar Pradesh if they secure a third consecutive term. Shah emphasized that

the BJP would

establish the next

government and that

Akhilesh Yadav from

the Samajwadi Party

and Rahul Gandhi

from the Congress

had no real

prospects and could

continue fantasizing about governing Uttar

Pradesh. When the government assumes power this

time, the UCC will

be enforcedin Uttar Pradesh. Shah mentioned that

UCC has already been put into practice in numerous states.

The BJP administration in Uttar Pradesh resembles Angad’s foot.

No one can shift it. The BJP will

once more establish the government.

He stated that there shouldn’t be any doubt about it. (SP president) Akhilesh babu, remember what I say: your party will not govern Uttar Pradesh for the next 30

years. The public will not pardon even your third

generation, Shah stated at the BJP's

state working committee gathering in Lucknow on

Wednesday. Shah informed party officials that they must

exhibit unwavering commitment to achieve victory, stating

that elections could only be won by workers, not leaders.

Today, release all your

resentments, frustrations, and grievances into the

Gomti and focus on the objective of establishing a BJP government for the third time in 2027.

Maintain a singular

focus — the triumph of the lotus.

Shah stated that the state has experienced significant

advancement in the past decade with Yogi Adityanath at the helm. He stated that

the government has positively changed the state regarding development and law

enforcement. The home minister also criticized Rahul Gandhi regarding the

party's continuous election losses, stating the Opposition blames the referee

after losing.I urge Rahul and Akhilesh — the BJP is prepared to address every

accusation of vote theft within Parliament. However, they will not engage in

discussion, Shah stated, rejecting the claims against the EC as unfounded.

In a jab at Akhilesh Yadav, Shah remarked that the Samajwadi

Party last secured the state election while his father, Mulayam Singh Yadav,

was present. You haven't secured a single election by yourself. The same

applies to Rahul baba. UP cannot accommodate those who shot at Ram

bhakts.Conversely, the BJP had grown into regions like Odisha, Haryana, and

West Bengal while also making a comeback to Delhi after three decades. We have

BJP chief ministers from Gangotri to Gangasagar. In Bengal, we have also

removed Mamata didi, he stated.

Shah arrived in Lucknow on Friday for an important

organizational meeting in light of the preparations for the 2027 Assembly

elections. At the airport, him were welcomed by Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath,

BJP state president Pankaj Chaudhary, and deputy chief minister Brajesh

Pathak.Along with Shah, Adityanath, Chaudhary, and Deputy Chief Ministers

Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, numerous senior BJP leaders such as

Vinod Tawde, Smriti Irani, and Jitin Prasada, along with ministers, MPs, and

MLAs, were present at the meeting.
