Rudraprayag, 30 October (H.S.): Despite continuous snowfall and bitterly cold conditions in the high Himalayan region of Uttarakhand, pilgrims continue to make their way to the Kedarnath shrine to offer prayers. Braving the harsh weather, devotees are arriving at the temple to seek the blessings of Baba Kedar. A total of 18,60,360 pilgrims have visited the shrine so far during the current pilgrimage season.
According to information released by the District Information Officer’s Office on Friday, the shrine has been experiencing continuous snowfall over the past two days. Necessary facilities have been put in place for accommodation, food, drinking water and medical assistance.
