Jammu, 30 October (H.S.): Taking its commitment towards social welfare and community service forward, State Bank of India, Main Branch Udhampur (Branch Code: 01186) provided essential daily-use materials and basic amenities to the old age home located in Udhampur under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. This is being described as a commendable step towards dignified care, better upkeep and improved quality of life for the elderly living there.

On this occasion, a team from State Bank of India, Main Branch Udhampur, led by Chief Manager Rahul Gupta, visited the old age home. The team interacted with the elderly residents. The Branch Manager of the Udhampur Main Branch, Rahul Gupta and Deputy Branch Manager Pawan Kumar expressed their gratitude to all the elderly for the commendable cooperation provided by the Bank for the welfare of the destitute elderly.

They also said that this sensitive and commendable initiative of the Bank will play a significant role in bringing improvement in the comfort, daily needs and quality of life of the elderly living in the old age home.
