New Delhi, 30 October (H.S.): President Droupadi Murmu on Friday spoke over the phone with Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi to take stock of the situation in the state in the aftermath of Cyclone Arnab. She also enquired about the well-being of people affected by the cyclone and subsequent flooding, including those who had been displaced from their homes.

According to a post shared by Rashtrapati Bhavan on the social media platform X, the President discussed the prevailing situation in Odisha with Chief Minister Majhi. She sought an update on the condition of residents in cyclone-affected areas and enquired about the welfare of those displaced by the disaster.
