Beed, 30 Oct (HS): Police raided an illegal

firecrackers manufacturing unit in Kada in Ashti Tahsil of Beed district, and

seized firecrackers and raw material worth Rs 9,36,780. Police have registered an offence against the

operator.

Police had received confirmed information about the

illegal firecrackers manufacturing unit. Police arrested Sheikh Shafi Banemiya

(48) who was present on the site. The illegal factory was manufacturing 71

different types of firecrackers. Offence under BNS and Explosives Act has been registered.
