Hyderabad, 30 October (H.S.): The India Meteorological Department (IMD), Hyderabad, has forecast thunderstorms accompanied by lightning and squalls in several districts of Telangana until November 3 and issued a yellow alert in view of the expected weather conditions.

The state is likely to receive rainfall over the next few days, with moderate to heavy showers expected in some districts between November 2 and 4, according to the weather forecast cited in the report.

Hyderabad and other parts of the state are likely to receive light to moderate rainfall over the next five to six days.

The forecast comes after a prolonged dry spell in the region. Residents have been advised to take the weather conditions into account while planning their activities.
