
Lucknow, 3 Oct (HS): Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has
directed officials to take immediate action to restore power and road
connectivity in various parts of Uttar Pradesh, affected by heavy rains. He
emphasized the need to quickly repair rain-damaged power poles and wires, and
to restore power supply to affected areas. The Chief Minister gave clear
instructions to ensure that people do not face prolonged power outages due to
the rains and to expedite repair work.
Supply system should be normalized soon: The Chief Minister
directed Electricity Department officials to inspect the affected areas, assess
the condition of the damaged electrical infrastructure, and immediately carry
out repairs as needed. He also directed them to restore power supply as soon as
possible by repairing power poles, wires, and other equipment. He also directed
them to activate local teams and ensure prompt resolution of complaints.
Roads damaged by rain should be repaired immediately: The
Chief Minister has also directed immediate repairs to roads damaged by heavy
rains. He has directed that roads damaged by waterlogging and rain be
identified and the necessary repairs be completed quickly, so that there are no
obstacles to public movement. The Chief Minister has directed officials to work
in coordination to restore essential public services like electricity and roads
to normalcy as soon as possible.
Emphasizing that there should be no delay in relief and restoration work
in the affected areas, he said that the concerned officials should decide the
priorities as per the local conditions and provide relief to the affected
people as soon as possible.
