
New Delhi, 03 October (H.S.): Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Lok Sabha Speaker Om Birla and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, among several other leaders, on Saturday extended warm birthday greetings and best wishes to Union Minister for Culture and Tourism Gajendra Singh Shekhawat.
Prime Minister Modi, in a post on the social media platform X, wrote, “Many happy returns of the day to Gajendra Singh Shekhawat! His efforts to popularise Indian culture and advance the tourism sector are commendable. May God bless him with a long and healthy life.”
Om Birla said he prayed for Shekhawat’s good health, happiness and long life.
Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said Shekhawat’s dedicated efforts to promote India’s rich cultural heritage and strengthen the country’s tourism sector were commendable. He wished him a long and healthy life in the service of society.
Union Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Modi, Shekhawat’s contribution to preserving India’s rich culture, traditions and glorious heritage and further enhancing their standing around the world was commendable. He also wished Shekhawat good health and longevity.
Union Minister for Road Transport and Highways Nitin Gadkari also wished Shekhawat good health, a long life and a happy future.
Union Minister for Textiles Giriraj Singh prayed that Shekhawat be blessed with good health, happiness and continued success. He wished that his life remain filled with energy, happiness and dedication to public service.
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Nitin Nabin said he prayed for Shekhawat’s good health and a prosperous and auspicious life on the occasion.
Union Minister for Social Justice and Empowerment Dr Virendra Kumar said he prayed to Lord Ram for Shekhawat’s good health, longevity and a successful life.
Gajendra Singh Shekhawat is the Union Minister for Culture and Tourism, Government of India. Recent government releases identify him in that capacity, including his participation in the BRICS Tourism Ministers’ Meeting in Jaipur in August 2026 and the 65th National Exhibition of Art in New Delhi in September 2026.
