Assam CM Says 11 'Unknown Infiltrater' Detained
Guwahati, 03 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said the state government’s firm stand against what he referred to as “unknown guests” continued, with 11 such persons detained during an operation on Friday night.

Guwahati, 03 October (HS): Assam Chief Minister Dr Himanta Biswa Sarma on Saturday said the state government’s firm stand against what he referred to as “unknown guests” continued, with 11 such persons detained during an operation on Friday night.

In a social media post, Sarma said appropriate action had been taken against all the detained persons.

He said the government would continue to take strict measures to safeguard the security of the state, protect the border and uphold the interests of Assam’s indigenous population.

The Chief Minister reiterated that the government would maintain its firm approach towards matters concerning state security, border security and the protection of the interests of indigenous people.-----------
