Prayagraj, 3 Oct (HS): Congress workers in the city welcomed

the appointment of Congress Legislative Party Leader Aradhana Mishra Mona as

the President of the Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee and expressed their

gratitude to the party’s central leadership.

A meeting was held in Civil Lines under the chairmanship of

City Congress Committee President Fuzail Hashmi, where it was decided to accord

a grand welcome to the newly appointed UPCC President. The party workers said

that her appointment reflects the Congress party’s commitment to women’s

empowerment. They also appreciated Aradhana Mishra Mona’s four-generation-long

dedication to the Congress party.

On the occasion, party workers congratulated one another and

distributed sweets to celebrate the appointment. The party workers expressed

confidence that the INDIA alliance will form the government in the state in the

2027 Assembly elections. Former MLA Vijay Prakash, Sudhakar Tiwari, Kishore

Varshney, Harikesh Tripathi, Mukund Tiwari, Sanjay Tiwari, Anil Pandey, Talat

Azim, Parvez Siddiqui, Shashi Prakash, Kamu Sonkar, among others, expressed

their happiness over the decision of the party high command.
