Prayagraj, 3 Oct (HS): A Quarterly Associate NCC Officers (ANO)

Conference was organised by 15 UP Battalion NCC, Prayagraj, and was chaired by

the Commanding Officer, Col Ritu Srivastava Rawat. The conference focused on

reviewing ongoing NCC activities and apprising ANOs of important updates

concerning online enrollment, conduct of NCC classes and implementation of the

new NCC syllabus.

Detailed discussions were held on the latest developments in

online NCC enrollment, including registration, verification of cadet details

and timely completion of the enrollment process through the online system. An

update on the conduct of NCC classes and training activities was also

discussed. ANOs were briefed on ensuring regular classes, effective utilisation

of training periods and greater participation of cadets in institutional as

well as battalion-level activities.

A major agenda item was the new NCC syllabus. The ANOs were

apprised of the revised training content and its implementation, with emphasis

on structured and practical training of cadets. The importance of maintaining

training standards and effective delivery of both institutional and practical

components of the syllabus was highlighted.

The conference also provided a platform for interaction

between the Battalion and ANOs, wherein training and administrative issues were

discussed and suitable guidance was provided. Col Ritu Srivastava Rawat,

Commanding Officer, 15 UP Battalion NCC, emphasised the importance of effective

implementation of the new syllabus, regular conduct of NCC classes and timely

completion of online enrollment. She urged all ANOs to maintain close

coordination with the Battalion and ensure quality training, discipline and active

participation of cadets in NCC activities.

The conference concluded with a commitment to further

strengthen the NCC training system and holistic development of cadets through

discipline, leadership, character building and meaningful training activities,

informed Wg Cdr Debartho Dhar, Pro & Spokesperson, Ministry of Defence, Prayagraj.
