Guwahati, 29 October (H.S.): Four people were injured in a machete attack at Dhirenpara in Guwahati, triggering concern in the locality. One of the injured is reported to be in critical condition.

According to preliminary information, Badiul Islam, alias Bubul, allegedly attacked four people with a machete, leaving them injured. The incident took place in the Dhirenpara area of the city.

Following the incident, Fatashil Ambari Police took action and arrested the accused, identified as Maidul Islam. Further details about the circumstances leading to the attack and the identities of the injured were not immediately available.
