Amaravati, 29 October (H.S.): Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and Telugu Desam Party (TDP) president N. Chandrababu Naidu on Thursday directed district in-charge ministers to take disciplinary action against party rebels, stating that candidates finalised by the three alliance partners would be the final choice for the upcoming local body elections.

Addressing TDP cadre and ministers-in-charge following the State Cabinet meeting, held in hybrid mode in view of Cyclone Arnab, Naidu called on party leaders to work together to ensure the victory of alliance candidates.

Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan said the recent press conference on unity among the alliance partners had conveyed the message effectively to the public. He urged leaders to coordinate their efforts to secure victories for candidates of all three parties.

Naidu said there was strong public support for the alliance's development and welfare initiatives. He directed ministers to resolve disputes promptly and ensure coordination among party leaders ahead of the elections.

He also outlined the political priorities following the local body polls, saying the focus would shift to panchayat elections, followed by municipal elections, before attention returned to governance.
