Ahmedabad, 28 October (H.S.): Players from the Adani Sportsline Tennis Academy, Khush Parikh and Srija Shah, delivered impressive performances at the District-Level Khel Mahakumbh 2026, with Khush clinching the gold medal in the Under-14 boys’ singles category and Srija securing bronze in the Under-14 girls’ singles event.

Srija joined the academy on April 20, 2026. In July, she went on to win the Under-14 and Under-16 girls’ singles titles at tournaments organised by the Gujarat State Tennis Association. She is now setting her sights on the Under-14 National Championships scheduled for 2027, with her long-term ambition being to represent India at the national team level.

Khush Parikh, who joined the academy in August 2025, has also been making steady progress on the competitive circuit. Most recently, he finished runner-up in the Under-14 boys’ doubles category at the All India Ranking Championship Series Tennis Tournament 2026, held at the Mamta Tennis Academy in Bhavnagar, Gujarat. He also reached the semi-finals of the Under-14 singles event.

Khush’s other achievements include qualifying for the School Games National Competition in 2025, finishing runner-up in the Under-14 doubles category at a Tennis Championship Series event organised by the All India Tennis Association in Vadodara, and winning titles at Gujarat State Tennis Association ranking tournaments.

Both players train under the guidance of the academy’s coaching team, with their development focusing on stroke technique, footwork, shot placement, consistency and match strategy.

Following their medal-winning performances at Khel Mahakumbh, Khush and Srija will now turn their attention to preparations for upcoming competitions. Adani Sportsline Tennis Academy provides young players with expert coaching, modern training facilities and opportunities to compete in tournaments as part of its efforts to nurture emerging tennis talent.
