Prayagraj, Oct 28 (HS): Uttar Pradesh Congress Committee

President, MLA Aradhana Mishra Mona stated that the Modi government would not

be allowed to deprive the people of the country of their right to vote. She

asserted that the INDIA Alliance's movement, under the leadership of Leader of

Opposition Rahul Gandhi, would continue until the decisive battle against vote

theft and the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls culminates in

the resignation of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar.

She appealed to Congress workers from Prayagraj district to

participate in large numbers in the Delhi rally scheduled for November 1 to

protect democracy and the Constitution.

Earlier, in the evening, she was warmly welcomed at the

airport by Congress leaders led by City Congress President Fuzail Hashmi,

included former MLA Vijay Prakash, Sudhakar Tiwari, Kishore Varshney, Harikesh

Tripathi, Narayan Singh Chandel, Talat Azeem, Vijay Mishra, Shashi Prakash,

Anil Pandey ,Arshad Ali, Manas Shukla, Pervez Siddiqui, Pradeep Dwivedi,

spokesperson Shahnawaz Qureshi, Sushmita Yadav, Tabrez Ahmed, Manoj Patel,

Nafees Qureshi, and others.
